The Tony Purdue Band pays homage to traditional roots music while maintaining originality in their songs. Tony writes from real life experiences, but having cut his teeth on his dad’s old country and rockabilly records, still keeps a foot in the dream world. Joined by Andy Clark on lead guitar, Freddy Faust on upright bass, Michael Kilpatrick on drums, and occasionally by other assorted carpetbaggers and scallawags, this rootsy and bluesy ensemble is sure to stir your soul.
Concerts on the Dock started as a small gathering of music lovers back in 2008, and has since grown into an institution in the Huntsville music scene. This free, family friendly series is all about creating a laid back atmosphere for friends of Lowe Mill A&E to enjoy original content and interesting new acts, Friday nights during the Spring and Fall. Bring chairs, picnics, friends, and pets on a leash, and meet under the water tower.
