Overview

At the annual reunion celebrating former employees of Genesco and Lowe Mill, Inc you will learn how the nation’s largest privately own arts and entertainment facility began with textiles and shoes. The reunion is open to the public. Photographs, tools, books, posters, and a variety of periodical literature will be on display. An historian will be present to answer questions and talk with anyone wanting to share their work experience at Lowe Mill.  Terri French will have a book signing during the reunion to promote her new book, Huntsville Textile Mills & Villages: Linthead Legacy, on the history of textile mills in Huntsville.
