Lt. Col. (Ret) Ed Yeilding, USAF, discusses his captivating experience flying one of the fastest planes ever built, the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird. Yeilding’s 1990 U.S. coast-to-coast flight in the SR- 71 covered 2,400 miles in 68 minutes, 17 seconds.
