The Indian Creek Greenway is located in Huntsville.


The Indian Creek Greenway begins at Slaughter Road and runs northward for two miles from Old Madison Pike up to Creekwood Park. Another section north of Highway 72 runs one mile. It will eventually total six miles and run to Old Monrovia Road when completed. The beautiful greenway route meanders north along the creek, bordered by farmland and woods.


Location:  West Huntsville, from Old Madison Pike to Creekwood Park (Southern trail); from U.S. Hwy 72 to Providence School (Northern trail)


Length:  3 miles (non-continuous); Indian Creek Greenway (South) - 2.00 miles, Indian Creek Greenway (North) - 1.00 mile


Greenway Connections:  Cummings Research Park, Columbia High School, the Creekwood community, the West Ridge community, the Providence community and Providence School


Parking: Parking is available at trail heads located on Old Madison Pike and Creekwood Park.

  • Description: The disc golf course is very challenging - on 50 acres of diverse terrain. Open holes with elevation and length and a good mix of wooded holes. Four holes have water hazards and over half the holes have some OB danger. Multiple pin positions and the longer holes have baskets in both long and short positions. Aluminum benches throughout.
