It is a Non-profit member of Arts Council, Inc. The Nutcracker is performed each year at the Von Braun Center Concert Hall will the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra. The Huntsville Ballet Company, along with the assistance of the Alabama State Arts Council and the National Endowment of the Arts, has brought several prestigious dance companies into Huntsville for stellar performances. Green Mountain Nature Trail a.k.a. Madison County Nature Trail, is the perfect place to encounter the elusive beauty of nature in her undisturbed state. 16-acre lake, wooded paths, picnic pavillion, chapel, covered bridge and Braille Trail.
The Nature Trail is open to the public, at no charge, every day (including holidays) from sunrise to sunset, and offers tables for picnickers, picturesque scenery for camera buffs, outdoor classrooms for students, and an abundance of plants and wildlife for all nature lovers in general.

Directions: From South Memorial Parkway take Weatherly Road, right on Bailey Cove Road, left on Green Mountain Road, and right on Shawdee Road to the park.
