The Grisham Gallery will come alive this summer with an exciting display of flora and fauna related subjects. Both historical and contemporary works in a variety of media and styles will be featured, including pieces not publicly displayed for many years. Look for Betty Grisham’s engaging portrait of her cat, Snowy, situated in a lush backyard landscape, among other surprises!
This is an interactive 3-D presentation in an informal learning environment. Facilitators will lead audiences through the formation of a thunderstorm, conditions needed for a tornado to form & how a tornado moves once on the ground.
The exhibit includes traditional artifacts & other arts & crafts that reflect the creative aspects of celebrating Kwanzaa.
A church Christmas pageant spins wildly out of control as three sisters try to rein in the mayhem. Amidst an ailing Santa, a vengeful sheep & a reluctant Elvis impersonator, a family secret emerges that just might derail the entire production. And on top of everything else the pageant will be shown live on cable access television for the first time ever.
On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father brings 3 men from her mother's past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago. The story-telling magic of ABBA's timeless songs propels this enchanting tale of love, laughter & friendship.

Take Airport Road to Jones Valley, left at Four Mile Post/Cecil B. Ashburn Drive to the graveled Land Trust parking lot on the right at the top of the mountain.
This multimedia production brings to life the current war in the Middle East with actural letters written by soldiers serving in Iraq & Afghanistan. Photographs & video footage taken directly from the soldiers' blogs reveal the humanity within the war as seen through the eyes of those fighting it. Without politicizing, the play presents a powerful & moving portrait of the soldiers' experience.
Enjoy an evening of good food, convivial company, lively Scottish music (including bagpipes) & energetic Scottish folk dancers.

Weather takes center stage when WHNT Meteorologist Dan Satterfield visits Sci-Quest to look at clouds, climate change and severe weather as he presents an in-depth look at weather.
There will be Virtual Vortex showings with Dan along with hands-on weather activities, a display of historical weather instruments; and, of course, a Dan Satterfield look-a-like contest!
