HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Tired of walking through downtown Huntsville? Worry no longer, because you can now rent Segways to roam the streets of Huntsville. Downtown Huntsville, Inc. has teamed up with The Clinton Row Project to offer Segway rentals. The Clinton Row Project, presented by Redstone Federal Credit Union, is open Wednesday through Saturday noon to 6 p.m. and is located on Jefferson Street.
Riders must be 14 years old or older, and anyone under 18 needs a guardian with them. The Segways move at 12 mph, so there won't be too many intense Segway races through downtown. Helmets will be provided at the time of the rental.
You can rent them for $24.99 per hour Wednesday through Friday and $39.99 per hour on Saturdays. You can also click here to book your rental.
You can ride through Big Spring Park and as far as the 25-mile per ride limit will take you.
