Josie was born in coastal Kenya. She has resided in Huntsville, Alabama, for 17 years. While in the Rocket City, Josie launched a clothing line, Josie Wachi, to give women a better tailored modern and classic style. Awarded the ‘North Alabama Emerging Fashion Designer’ by the Alabama Fashion Alliance, Josie is much more than a designer of stylish clothes. A real source of inspiration for style and healthy living, she enjoys blogging and podcasting for people in Alabama. She is a graduate of Leadership/Huntsville Madison County’s Connect Class for young professionals.
