Christkindlmarket Huntsville returns for its third year, this time for three days December 6-8th to the historical Downtown Square. Christkindlmarket Huntsville is the largest Christmas market in Alabama. Featured in Food and Wine & AAA Alabama Journey Magazine.
This German-inspired Christmas market is home to dozens of local and national craft vendors. Thousands of attendees are expected throughout the weekend from Huntsville, the Tennessee Valley and beyond. 360 entertainment on all four sides of square with live music, Santa Claus and delicious traditional foods, will surely get you in the Holiday spirit.

Christkindlmarket Huntsville has a large selection of vendors from across Huntsville and the South East Region. In the past Christkinldmarket has had over 50 craft vendors from traditional ornament makers to soaps and children's clothing. This year, there will be even more vendors to choose from that can make any Christmas list complete.
Give Back to a Local Charity
Christkinldmarket is partnering with Free 2 Teach in furthering their mission. Free 2 Teach works with teachers to ensure that they have the resources and financial help the need to make their classrooms successful year round. As a family friendly event Christkindlmarket understands the importance of education in a family and how necessary it is that your children receive the best education possible. We want to be apart of furthering that mission by providing a platform for Free 2 Teach to collect classroom items and raise awareness.

Thanks to Downtown Huntsville Inc, Christkindlmarket Huntsville is excited to bring this event to the historic Downtown Huntsville Square. This will allow you to have a full day of Holiday family fun. You can visit the Skating in the Park in front of the Museum of Art, take a stroll through the Tinsel Trail in Big Spring Park and then head up to the Square to the Christkindlmarket for shopping, German-inspred food and drinks, and live entertainment. To finish it off you can take a picture with Santa Claus to make your day one to remember.

Downtown Huntsville is a part of the Arts & Entertainment District, which means feel free to grab a purple cup and use it at any of the surrounding restaurants and bars to enjoy a German inspired drink that will put you right into the Holiday spirit.

And you won’t want to miss the talented kids from Lyrique Music Productions as they sing some of your favorite Christmas songs.
