As Huntsville cautiously begins to reopen our doors, we know our local hospitality industry looks forward to welcoming patrons back into their hotels, restaurants, shops, and other establishments. One of the most important things we can do to quicken the recovery process is to wear a face mask or protective face covering when out in public. Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle has issued the #ShowYourCoverHsv challenge to residents as a way to encourage the regular use of face coverings.
Under Alabama's current Safer at Home Order, wearing a face mask in public is mandatory. They provide a barrier of protection for you, your family, coworkers, and strangers, as well as being a visual reminder we can make a difference in stopping the spread of the virus.
Share your pictures on social media with the hashtag #ShowYourCoverHsv or email them to beth@huntsville.org for a chance to be featured on the CVB's social media channels.
