2023 Rocket City Weather Fest

Rocket City Weather Fest is a free, family-friendly event furthering the science of meteorology and severe weather safety in a fun, dynamic atmosphere on the campus of UAH and at UAH's Severe Weather Institute/Radar and Lightning Laboratory (SWIRLL). Attendees will get to watch a weather balloon launch, view UAH's fleet of research vehicles and tour department facilities. Meteorology professionals from all sectors will also be in attendance including James Spann, Brad Travis, Danielle Dozier, Grace Anello, Casey Calamaio, Elizabeth Fancher, Kristopher White and the National Weather Service in Huntsville. This is a great event for people and students who are interested in meteorology and STEM.
