21st Annual Cigar Box Guitar Festival Seminar and Meet-up Jam

The World’s Longest-Running Cigar Box Guitar Festival returns for its 21st year in Huntsville to raise money for music education. Day 2 of the Festival takes place on Saturday, May 31 in various studios at Lowe Mill A&E (2211 Seminole Dr SW, Huntsville, AL 35805). Throughout the day, cigar box guitar fans can learn from the pros about playing a CBG and get tips on building their own in free seminars at The Cigar Box Guitar Store, Tangled String Studio and the Huntsville Traditional Music Association. Solo cigar box guitar players will show their skills at Kar’s Char Texas BBQ, while other studios throughout Lowe Mill will offer specials. All activities during the day are free.

All of the proceeds from this year’s event benefit the Microwave Dave Music Education Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization devoted to the integration of music with learning.
