HSDS Presents: Scruffy City Syncopators

Join your friends at the Huntsville Swing Dance Society for a night of dancing to LIVE music by the Scruffy City Syncopators.

Get ready to dance the night away with the Scruffy City Syncopators, a high-energy jazz quartet from Knoxville, TN brought together by Jeremy Brantley and featuring Keith Moore, Sandra Moats, Ben Jobe, and Brantley himself. With a sound steeped in classic swing and syncopated rhythms made for dancers, this band will set the perfect tone for an unforgettable night of live music and social dancing.

They will start the night with a 6-count swing dance lesson that is welcome to all to join -- no partner or experience necessary, followed by social dancing to LIVE music. Around 11pm, they will have a quick blues dance lesson followed by dancing to DJ'd blues music until midnight, so come ready to dance all night!

8:00 pm - 11:00 pm : Open social dancing
11:00 pm - midnight : Blues power hour w/ flash blues lesson
