Sex, scandals, salacious stories and of course, liquid libations! Learn about Huntsville’s naughty past on a fun and spirited tour detailing some famous and not so famous scandals. Join Huntsville Ghost Walk’s Jacque Reeves and Bob Boyer for a night of adult themed history on the Rocket City Rover.
Some names have been changed to protect the innocent, but lots of laughs are promised and plenty of dirt, such as the Huntsville diner where a hamburger came with more than fries on the side; the popular motel with a special feature for those needing a quickie stay – a quick night’s stay is what was meant. Remember the disgraced former chief of police who was arrested while talking to a stuffed duck? Of course, Huntsville’s Tallulah Bankhead set the bar for un-lady like behavior. These are just a few of the many stories revealed when the curtain is pulled up to reveal Huntsville’s questionable past.
Tours leave from Green Bus Brewing on Wednesday and Thursday nights at 6:30 PM April 26th - June 15th.
