Join MidCity District from Friday, July 4th to Sunday, July 6th, for TONS of wonderful, family-friendly activities, including a massive fireworks celebration on Friday, July 4th presented by the Apollo Coalition.

❤️Friday, July 4th: ⁠⁠
5:00 pm - live music and activities begin in Apollo Park and around MidCity.
9:30pm - Fireworks Celebration - presented by the Apollo Coalition and choreographed to music on MIX 96.9, so you can tune in from wherever you're watching!
10:00 pm – Patriotic Glow Party in Apollo Park after fireworks!
 
🤍Saturday, July 5th:⁠⁠
11:00 am: Doors open for food and beverage at The Camp⁠⁠. Shaved ice, bounce houses, Weiner Von Braun, Face Painting, Water and Lawn Games at The Camp!
⁠⁠1:00 – 10:00 pm: LIVE music at The Camp ALL DAY
6:30 pm: Mullet and Mustache Contest at The Camp – BIG PRIZES!
 
💙Sunday, July 6th:⁠⁠
12:00 pm - 4:00 pm: The Market at MidCity farmers market with nearly 60 amazing local vendors!⁠⁠
12:00 pm - LIVE music at The Camp
1:00 pm: Deadline to bring your *carved* watermelon to The Camp!⁠⁠
2:00 pm: The Camp Counselors live on stage⁠⁠
 
🍉WATERMELON CARVING CONTEST DETAILS!!!🍉Bring your CARVED watermelon to The Camp on Sunday, July 6th by 1:00 pm (no carving on-site). The Camp team will take photos of the watermelons and post them online by 2:30/3:00 pm. Online votes are tallied and winners will be announced on Tuesday, July 8th at 6:00 pm. The winner will receive over $500 in prizes and gift cards! Will you be carving this year?!
