Luba Gulyaeva Ballet Intensive

Alabama Youth Ballet Theatre will once again host Luba Gulyaeva’s Summer Intensive, for Intermediate and Advanced Ballet dancers. A graduate of Vaganova Ballet Academy, Gulyaeva was a soloist with the Kirov Ballet. Since moving to the United States, she has taught at various schools in the New York area to include the American Ballet Theater School and the American Ballet working with Mikhail Baryshnikov. Additional courses in partnering will be taught by David Herriott, former principal soloist with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet and AYBT Artistic Director, while Paula Osmer, a dancer with a various companies in the Washington, D.C. area before returning to Huntsville, will be teaching classes in Modern. Dancers can select individual classes: Ballet - $25; Modern - $18.00 or weekly programs at $230 for one week or $450 for two weeks for Advanced Dancers, and $210 for one weekly or $400 for two weeks for Intermediate Dancers.
