Join HMA and Michael Feld for this unique opportunity to learn about the origin of Masonic symbols as described in the Masonic Lectures of the Grand Lodge of Alabama Free and Accepted Masons. The history of the origin of the lectures explains why the explanation of the symbols is virtually the same throughout English Freemasonry. A recitation of the non-secret portions of the Entered Apprentice Lecture will be given. This presentation is part of educational programming in conjunction with the Mystery and Benevolence: Masonic and Odd Fellows Folk Art from the American Folk Art Museum exhibition.
