Huntsville Civil Rights Landmarks Tour

Designed to make the local civil rights narratives come alive, the 3-hour tour, led by Scenethat Tours, enables guests to stand in the shadow of the first integrated public school in Alabama and to walk in the footsteps of students who picketed on downtown streets. The tour enables guests to grasp the significance of civil rights strategists and organizers. Uncover the locations where mass meetings were held and lessons in non-violent direct action were taught.

Transportation provider Rocket City Shuttles partners with Scenethat Tours to enable guests to experience the history behind 10 civil rights landmarks and 5 Black history sites in Huntsville.
