Arts Huntsville Joined by Americans for the Arts, NASA to celebrate
convergence of Art & Science at Rocket Roll Event
~ The FREE event will be held on Butler Green at Campus No. 805 Tomorrow, Friday, September 15th ~
This Friday, September 15th, Arts Huntsville will celebrate Huntsville’s artistic and musical engineers and scientists. Rocket Roll is a local celebration of National Arts in Education Week, and one of more than 20 #ArtsEdWeek events held nationwide. Arts Huntsville will welcome Jeff Poulin, the Arts Education Program Manager for Americans for the Arts, to the Rocket City for this special event.
Rocket Roll will be held from 5 to 8pm at Campus No. 805 on Friday, September 15th, in conjunction with Downtown Huntsville Inc.’s Battle of the Food Truck All Stars. This FREE family event will feature a performance by Foot Pound Force, a band comprised of local engineers, and STEAM interactive activities.
STEAM activities will be provided by NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, HAL5, and Broadway Theatre League.
