Day One: Fuel Up & Hit the Trails

Start your morning with a locally roasted coffee and breakfast at one of Huntsville's favorite cafés. Whether you choose Gold Sprint Coffee, Honest Coffee Roasters, or Canadian Bakin, you'll be ready for a day outdoors.

Next, lace up your hiking boots and explore the Land Trust of North Alabama trail system. With more than 24 miles of trails on Monte Sano Nature Preserve alone, you'll find everything from leisurely woodland walks to challenging climbs with incredible overlooks. Prefer a paved route? The Tollgate Greenway offers a scenic, accessible option for walkers and cyclists.
