GULF SHORES, Ala. (Nov. 11, 2019) —SportsEvents Media Group, the leading industry publication focused exclusively on helping sports event planners produce excellent competitions in the United States, has announced that John Hunt Park Cross Country Course in Huntsville, AL has been recognized as a 2020 Readers’ Choice Award winner.

Award winning destinations and venues for youth and amateur sports will be honored in the January 2020 issue of SportsEvents Magazine.

Sports event professionals were asked to nominate destinations and sports venues that they believe display exemplary creativity and professionalism toward the youth and amateur sports groups they host. More than 3,000 votes were cast this year to name the winners in each category. A record number of nominations were also submitted in early October to nominate events, planners, industry professionals and destinations.

“The destinations, venues, industry professionals and events nominated for this year’s Readers’ Choice Awards are truly deserving of this award,” said Sherri Middleton, managing editor of SportsEvents Magazine.
