A date night for two, a brunch for the girls, or a Netflix binge… a charcuterie plate is perfect for every event. Charcuterie is the art of preparing, creating and arranging tempting salamis, delicious cured meats and delectable bites of perfectly paired cheese, antipasto and fresh fruit. Sure, you could go to the store and buy all the individual items needed to make your own, or you could leave it up to the pros (and support a small business)! Huntsville has plenty of places for you to get your charcuterie board fix.

Get it To-Go

These places are perfect to grab and have a nice night at home or in a park.

Good Company Cafe

This adorable cafe in South Huntsville is one of my favorite places in the city. Good Company Cafe has these inexpensive, to-go charcuterie plates, perfect for 2 people (or just yourself)! If you need to feed a family, check out their catering menu for larger charcuterie boards. Don’t forget to order some champagne or wine to go with your goodies!

Church Street Wine Shoppe

Church Street Wine Shoppe not only has an incredible selection of wines, they also have charcuterie boards to go along with your selection. Nothing pairs better with wine than a nutty or sharp cheese, fig, and salty or smoked meats. They cater or you can get a board to go from the shop. Once they move to their new location at the historic Humphreys-Rodgers house, there will be plenty of room to sit and enjoy the wine and cheese.

The Poppy & Parliament

The Poppy in downtown Huntsville has recently opened its sister restaurant, Parliament, serving English and Irish delicacies. Get their take-away “Perfect Charcuterie” to enjoy at home or on a picnic for two. All the meats on their board are hand smoked and cured in house by their chef!

Enjoy it on a Patio

See a beautiful view along with enjoying some amazing cocktails to go along with your charcuterie board.

Bar Vista

Want to indulge in some charcuterie while taking in an incredible view of downtown Huntsville? BarVista located at the AC Hotel is where you should hang out! Share a bottle of wine and their charcuterie board while you take in the view of beautiful Big Spring Park and the Huntsville Museum of Art!

Rhythm on Monroe

Another place with a great view! Rhythm on Monroe located on the north side of the Von Braun Center near Mars Music Hall, and their rooftop bar has one of the BEST views of the city. The rooftop bar menu has bar bites, including their charcuterie board, or you could dine on their large patio downstairs if you’re looking for your charcuterie to serve as an appetizer. (Pro Tip: head up to their rooftop during a full moon… amazing!)

Domaine South

Properly titled the “best little wine shop,” this little restaurant packs a considerable punch in its charcuterie offerings. At Domaine South, you can build your own charcuterie board from all the delicious and unique items they have to offer. They also offer curbside service! Make sure to ask about the wine pairings to go with your charcuterie! Their outdoor seating is on the Downtown Huntsville Square, and after enjoying your meal take a walk to view the secret art trail.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR CHARCUTERIE!
