Just off Highway 72 in Madison County, Clift Farm has grown into one of the most inviting spots in the Huntsville area for a leisurely afternoon or a fun evening out. The centerpiece Village Green gives the whole development a neighborly feel, with wide open lawn space, a centerpiece stage, and spaces to sit and chat.

The surrounding mix of restaurants and shops makes it easy to hang out for a bit, and regularly scheduled community events keep things lively. Whether you're stopping in for a bite, browsing a market, or catching a free concert under the stars, there's always a reason to linger a little longer at Clift Farm.

This free, outdoor concert series features local musicians playing live tunes. It’s scheduled a couple of times a month on Thursday evenings between April through July. Grab dinner to go and bring a blanket or folding chairs for a picnic with live tunes!

Farmers Market at Clift Farm

A summer season community favorite, the Farmers Market at Clift Farm is held on Tuesdays between May and October. In addition to shopping from local growers and makers, visitors can enjoy live music, activities for kids, lawn games, and more.

1st Thursdays Art Walk

The Clift Farm Art Walk series begins in early May and runs through November, on the first Thursday evening of each month (except for July). The event will feature local artists, so it’s the perfect chance to pick up a unique souvenir or gift.

Dining at Clift Farm

The restaurant scene at Clift Farm is always growing, with more than two dozen spots currently open and more on the way. You can find a little bit of everything here, from casual cafes to fine dining in an array of global cuisine.

Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants

The first Cooper’s Hawk location to open in Alabama, this upscale restaurant is known for its wine club and extensive drink selection. Pair it with filet mignon and whipped potatoes or sweet corn and tomato risotto.

Jim & Nick’s Community Bar-B-Q

You’ll immediately crave barbecue when you catch a whiff of the smoky, saucy scents drifting out of Jim & Nick’s at Clift Farm. The drive-through makes it super easy to grab a pulled pork sandwich or loaded baked potato to eat on the Village Green, but the restaurant also has a breezy patio perfect for family dining.

Steam Boys

A small chain that started in Nashville, Steam Boys opened its first Alabama location in Clift Farm in 2024. The Chinese comfort food menu includes dishes like steamed bao, pan-steamed dumplings, and boba milk tea.

Maple Street Biscuit Company

Brunch meets Southern comfort food at Maple Street Biscuit Company. Slide in with friends on the weekend for a Sunrise Mimosa and loaded grits bowl or order a classic biscuit stacked with fried chicken, bacon, gravy, and more.

Tikka Shack

New to Alabama, Tikka Shack serves Indian favorites in a casual setting at Clift Farm. Start off with samosas or loaded masala fries before building your own curry bowl with vegan options and customizable spice levels.

Shopping at Clift Farm

Most of the shops at Clift Farm offer practical goods and services for residents, but visitors can still find a couple of fun places to browse after brunch or before an evening event on the Village Green.

S&J Produce

Before there was a Village Green and dozens of restaurants, there was S&J Produce Farms. The stand and store on 72 sells fresh produce, jarred jams and jellies, local honey, gift baskets, and other treats. Around the holidays, there’s also a little Christmas tree lot.

Wrapsody

Wrapsody is the perfect spot to shop for gifts or that perfect little dress to wear to brunch with the gals. The girly boutique oozes Southern charm, so it’s great for a little local shopping in Clift Farm.
