From the promoters of Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Austin Food & Wine, and dozens more across the globe, C3 Presents brings a broad mix of musical talent to Huntsville, Alabama for the first time for a two-day music festival at John Hunt Park that will rock your socks off! Monday, 9/16, is your last chance to order tickets and have your wristbands shipped to your address! If you miss the deadline, don't worry—you can still pick up your wristbands at Will Call. 

Remember: Do not put on or tighten your wristbands until you are ready to go to the festival.

Whether you're driving in or flying in, Huntsville's location off Interstate 65 in North Alabama is convenient to reach from many major population centers and airports. Here is a list of direct flights to Huntsville. There are additional options if you choose to fly into Nashville or Birmingham with shuttle services that serve Huntsville from those markets.

Guests and their belongings are subject to search upon entry. You can help keep the lines moving quickly by leaving large bags at home.
NO backpacks, purses, or bags are allowed to be brought into the venue, EXCEPT for the following:

  • Small clutch purses and fanny packs that are 6" x 9" or smaller do not need to be clear, but can have no more than one pocket.
  • All other bags larger than 6" x 9" must be smaller than 12" x 6" x 12" and clear.
  • Hydration packs are allowed and do not need to be clear, but must be emptied of all liquid and have no more than two pockets in addition to the one holding the water reservoir.
  • For the avoidance of doubt, larger iridescent, color-tinted, and opalescent bags are NOT allowed; they must be clear.

WHAT ITEMS ARE ALLOWED & PROHIBITED?

Guests and their belongings are subject to search upon entry or re-entry. You can help keep the lines moving quickly by leaving large bags at home.
The following items are ALLOWED:

  • Small clutch purses and fanny packs (6" x 9" or smaller with no more than one pocket)
  • Clear bags under 12" x 6" x 12"
  • Hydration packs (emptied of all liquid with no more than two pockets in addition to the one holding the water reservoir)
  • Frisbees
  • Binoculars
  • Blankets, Sheets, Towels
  • Cameras (basic point-and-shoot consumer-grade cameras) without detachable lenses and other accessories (monopods, selfie sticks, tripods, GoPro mounts, and other attachments are not allowed)
  • Empty, reusable plastic or aluminum water bottles
  • Sunscreen in non-aerosol containers is allowed in the size of 3.4 ounces or less
  • Personal-sized hand sanitizer
  • Factory-sealed Naloxone/Narcan kit

HOW DO I GET TO THE FESTIVAL? (FESTIVAL LOCATION)

South Star will take place at:

John Hunt Park

Public Transportation

Utilize the Huntsville Orbit bus line's convenient options! Red line stops near Leeman Ferry and Drake Ave (Academy Sports/Hardees) are closest to the festival entrance. Red line operating hours will be extended to run until one hour after the festival closes each night! Learn more about the Orbit and plan your route HERE.

Rideshare 
Rideshare drop-off and pick-up is located at Joe Davis Stadium (3125 Don Mincher Dr SW, Huntsville, AL 35801).

Family and Friend Drop-off and Pick-up
Dropping your friends off? Use the rideshare area at Joe Davis Stadium. Follow directions to the drop-off area, where you can pick them up after the show. Paid parking and free parking use other directions.

Driving to South Star Festival and need a place to park? We got a spot for you! Secure your Parking Pass now for the closest parking available at the festival. Parking spots just across from the festival entrance near Joe Davis Stadium are very limited, so get yours before they go.

Pre-Paid Parking
Paid lots are located all around Joe Davis Stadium, which is across the street from the festival! Accessible spaces will be identified within these lots, nearest the festival entrance.

There will also be first-come, first-serve free parking at Milton Frank Stadium (2801 15th Ave SW, Huntsville, AL 35805, United States) and the Aquatic Center (2213 Drake Ave SW, Huntsville, AL 35805, United States). Follow signs directing you to the festival entrance via Drake and Leeman Ferry. It is a longer walk, so consider dropping off your friends before going to park! Accessible spaces are available within each lot. Anyone with a mobility disability should consider getting dropped off at Joe Davis Stadium in the designated drop-off area.

Bike
Bike parking is located near the main entrance. Remember to roll with your lock to keep your bike secure while you're at the show.
