My family and I went on a last-minute camping for a much-needed family reset and late birthday celebration. In the process of our search for availability, we discovered Red Coach Resort, a serene and well-maintained camping park close to home. After finding their picturesque waterfront sites, we immediately booked a spot. We were so pleased with our experience that we can't wait to return in the future.

Let's Explore!

A Tranquil Oasis

The Red Coach Resort is more than just a place to stay; it's a tranquil oasis that welcomes you with open arms. Located just a short drive from Huntsville's vibrant downtown area, the 82-acre resort offers a serene retreat surrounded by trees, wildflowers, and a tranquil creek. As soon as you enter the property, you'll instantly feel the stress of daily life melt away, replaced by a sense of calm and revitalization. It's hard to believe you're just a few minutes away from Huntsville.

Accommodations

Even though the property is still being developed, it offers numerous RV and tent sites. We selected a spot along the river for our tent. We enjoyed the additional space it provided for our family to play and relax. Although we had no neighbors during our stay, the trees that separated our site from the next provided us with much privacy from potential neighbors.

Our site was completely shaded and came with a picnic table and fire pit. It was conveniently located near the playground, the river trail, and the primitive bathroom. If you're hoping to bathe in the morning, be sure to pack a portable shower or bath wipes; currently, no bathhouses are available on the property.

Natural Beauty Abounds

Red Coach Resort is a nature lover's paradise. You can begin your day with a leisurely stroll along the resort's hiking trail, relax on a bench beside the river, swing in a hammock under the trees, or observe the birds. We enjoyed listening to the sound of the water while our boys skipped rocks. The resort's dedication to preserving the area's natural beauty is evident and highly appreciated.

Outdoor Adventures

If you love outdoor adventures, you'll find plenty of opportunities at Red Coach Resort. The resort features several koi ponds, a swimming hole perfect for Alabama's hot weather, a 1.5-mile river trail, a creek, picnic areas, and soon a waterfall. Additionally, there is a playground with swings and climbing toys and plenty of open space around the resort to enjoy activities like football or launching stomp rockets.

Southern Hospitality

At Red Coach Resort, Southern hospitality is a way of life. The owners embody this warm and welcoming spirit, ensuring your stay is comfortable. They are always ready to assist you with local recommendations, answer any questions, or provide any help you need at your site - just a phone call or text away.

Whether you're seeking relaxation or adventure, this resort has something for everyone and will quickly become a family favorite destination. Be sure to visit Red Coach Resort for your next camping trip!
