Sanders Christmas Burritt on the Mountain

Sanders Family Christmas at Burritt on the Mountain

The Sanders Family Christmas Play is a fun, folksy tale told by the Southern Rogue Theatre Company and Huntsville’s Burritt on the Mountain. Because the play is set in an old country church, guests will be welcomed into the old church at Burritt—the perfect location.

Be inspired by Christmas carols and vintage hymns as you take a trip to Mount Pleasant, North Carolina on Christmas Eve in 1941. It’s a comical piece that will make you want to dance and sing along.

Every year in December, students of the facility’s acting and dance classes come together to put on a spectacular holiday showcase. This time, the group will be performing an original show titled “The North Pole’s Got Talent” in which several popular Christmas characters—like Jack Frost, Buddy the Elf, and Elsa—all compete in a talent show to win the spot of Head Elf on Santa’s present-delivering team.
