Huntsville/Madison County Farmers Markets
Eating fresh, locally grown produce is an experience, and one we'd recommend to all visitors to Huntsville and Madison County. Madison County alone has 10 Farmers Markets, and during the summer there’s at least one open 6 days a week, spread all across the county. Everything sold at these area markets is grown or produced right here in north Alabama. We've put together a quick reference for you covering local farmers market offerings. Enjoy! After all, you can't beet fresh food. (See what we did there?) ;)
At Madison County Farmers Markets, you can find:
- Seasonal fresh fruits, vegetables and nuts
- Honey
- Eggs, cheese and meat
- Fresh baked goods
- Jams, jellies and pickles
- Locally roasted coffee and cold brew coffee
- Locally mixed black and green tea and herbal teas
- Flowers, vegetable starts and ornamental plants
- Arts and crafts from local artisans
- Some markets also offer live music and hot prepared foods
Check the these markets' websites and social media channels frequently for special events and updates to hours of operation!
