Located along the Flint River in southeast Huntsville, Alabama, Goldsmith-Schiffman Wildlife Sanctuary spans more than 375 acres of bottomland hardwood habitat interspersed with open fields and farmland. This natural area is an important part of the North Alabama Birding Trail and is home to a variety of habitats and an abundance of bird species. More than three miles of trails wind through bottomlands, swamps and sloughs suitable for hiking or mountain biking.
