An oasis amidst the subdivisions, the Rainbow Mountain Loop Trail follows a generally rocky path around the east face of the mountain and features unique rock formations such as Balance Rock, a cliffline with excellent views, fossils, Belly-Up and other caves, and a waterfall. Trail surface: Generally rocky, with small boulders and table rocks acting as pavers along the route.
