Rocket City gets a little extra tasty each summer during Huntsville Restaurant Week, an annual celebration of the local cuisine that flavors our space. 

Throughout August, the city shows off its dynamic dining scene for Culinary Month with the main course — Huntsville Restaurant Week — offering 10 days of mouthwatering menus, creative culinary experiences, and unbeatable deals at dozens of eateries.

All About Huntsville Restaurant Week

Week is an understatement — Huntsville Restaurant Week serves up 10 full days of special menus, limited-time tastes, and prix-fixe prices at some of the city’s favorite dining spots. It’s the perfect chance to hit up all those restaurants you’ve been dying to try. 

The event started in 2012 as a way to celebrate Huntsville's diverse food scene and elevate local businesses. You can access all the flavors by visiting participating establishments and asking about their Restaurant Week specials.

Tasty Restaurant Week Offers

Every eatery puts their own spin on Huntsville Restaurant Week. It may be a special three-course dinner at a prix-fixe price, a popular menu item with a twist, or a chef’s sampler of favorites.

Calling all Huntsville Foodies — the Rocket City Dash Pass is the best way to count down your restaurant visits and stay up- o date on all the special offers. Sign up for the free pass and use it to check in when you dine out. Each check in is a chance to win a grand prize worth more than $750, plus the pass has all the must-know info and menus for participating restaurants.

The foodie fun doesn’t end with Huntsville Restaurant Week. All of August is dubbed Culinary Month throughout Madison County, so grab a fork and dig in!

While some of the offers are just for Restaurant Week, throughout the month of August, Huntsville eateries will put on special events, host cooking classes, and continue celebrating local flavors.

Culinary Month Events

Dinner shows, cooking demos, games — it’s all in store during Culinary Month in Madison County. Head to Hound and Harvest for Wine Wednesdays with live tunes, Biscuit Belly for Tasty Tuesday deals, Goodland Pour House for weekly Music Bingo, and Phuket Thai Restaurant and Sushi for cooking classes.

It’s no secret that Huntsville is tasty year-round. After all, we’ve got USA Today’s “Best Southern Fine Dining” spot and over 700 places to chow down.

While Huntsville Restaurant Week and Culinary Month are the perfect time to eat your way around the city, there are tons of other fun foodie activities throughout the year, too. Head to Big Spring Park each third Friday from May to October for Food Truck Rallies, sip your way along the downtown Craft Cocktail Trail and Craft Beer Trail, and join in annual events like Oktoberfest
