Erin McMahon moved to Huntsville in 2008 for work as a defense contractor. She was introduced to mountain biking in 2015, and has put many miles under her belt since then; most recently completing her first 50 mile race in 2019. Erin sits as the Social Chair for the local mountain biking association, the Huntsville Area Mountainbike Riders (HAMR), and as the Secretary for an all-women group of cyclists, the Rocket City Cycle Belles (RCCB). Erin is also a certified Professional Mountain Biking Instructors Association (PMBIA) Level 1 Instructor. She has a passion for getting more people, especially women, on bikes!
