The Huntsville-Madison County Convention & Visitors Bureau resident “sports guy,” Mark McCarter is – in no particular order of importance – commissioner of the CVB’s fantasy football league and a Convention Sales Manager, working to bring sporting events to the area. He was a long-time sportswriter and columnist and four-time Alabama Sportswriter of the Year. His third book, “Pandamonium,” will goes behind-the-scenes on the return of professional baseball to north Alabama and will chronicle the 2021 season. It will be released in the fall by August Publications.
