The depot offers a display passenger train, an excursion train, a historic watchman’s hut, exhibits and a self-guided tour. Ride on a 10-mile round trip excursion on the museum’s Mercury and Chase Railroad. To charter a 1-1/2 hour train ride over historic 1887 Nashville, Chattanooga & St. Louis Railway’s Huntsville Branch Road Bed, a three week advance notice plus deposit will be required. Museum is open seven days a week for self-guided tours. The staff is available on Wednesday and Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
